"As many of you know, I have Tourette Syndrome as do two of my children."

Those with Tourettes fantasize for a cure. And now, this dream may be a reality in the very near future. I was skeptical when the notion was first presented to me but I had the opportunity to see patient trials and videos with persons who had significant tic, remarkably and suddenly tic free.

I am motivated now, more than ever before to raise the much needed funds to make this cure a reality! With your help we can make the lives of those living with Tourettes better - we can accomplish this immediately.

Approval from the FDA is required and requires clinical trials. With sufficient funding, the study protocol can be completed now and submitted to the Institutional Review Board, allowing for the clinical trials to take place through the summer of 2014.

Separately, but related, I have started Camp Carton: a one week summer camp experience for 40-50 children with Tourettes through the Tic Toc Stop Foundation. Camp Carton will be exclusively for children with Tourettes. For those selected, this camp will be entirely paid for through the foundation. Camp Carton will give children with Tourette Syndrome the opportunity to come together to feel connected and have fun all through a specially designed summer camp program."
